MHEFI Awards Record $312,300 in Scholarships

Every year, students across the country choose to build their future in the material handling, logistics, and supply chain industry. And every year, the Material Handling Education Foundation, Inc. (MHEFI) makes sure to lend support.

MHEFI’s Commitment to Students

For the 2026/2027 academic year, MHEFI awarded $312,300 in scholarships to 73 students — the largest scholarship total in the organization’s history! This represents 50 years of commitment to growing the next generation of supply chain talent.

MHEFI was established in 1976 as an independent charitable organization with the straightforward mission to connect driven students with the industry that needs them. Since then, it has supported more than 1,500 students and educators pursuing careers in the material handling and supply chain industry. MHEFI scholarships are a signal to students that this industry sees them, values them, and is investing in their future careers.

The 2026/2027 Scholarship Winners

This year’s scholarship recipients are full-time undergraduate students maintaining at least a “B” average in their major. Their awards — ranging from $1,500 to $6,000 — are directed toward tuition, fees, and textbooks, keeping the focus on academic success. The fields they’re studying span everything from robotics and automation to industrial engineering and logistics management.

Contribute to MHEFI’s Mission

Behind each scholarship is a company or donor who made it possible. MHEFI greatly appreciates the support of its donors and the tremendous positive impact that they have on students.

Donate to MHEFI to continue to build the pipeline for students to enter the supply chain industry. For more information about MHEFI scholarships, contact MHEFI Executive Director Mary Alyson Ammons at mammons@mhi.org.
