Atlanta Beyond MODEX 2026

MODEX 2026 is almost here, and the excitement is building. April 13-16 is four days packed full of 1,100 exhibitors, 200+ educational sessions, a strong keynote lineup, and cutting‑edge technology, there is no shortage of things to see and do while you are at the Georgia World Congress Center.

But MODEX is about more than what happens inside the show. Even with crafted experiential networking areas on the show floor, some of the best conversations and connections happen after show hours, often while exploring the city that hosts it. Atlanta brings its own energy to the MODEX experience, blending rich history, walkable attractions, and plenty of places to relax and recharge.

While you are visiting the City in the Forest, take advantage of everything Atlanta has to offer and carve out time to explore these local spots just beyond the show floor.

The Atlanta Beltline

From Krog Street Market to Ponce City Market, the Atlanta Beltline offers several trails where you can start and stop your exploration with ease. Between restaurants, trendy bars, patios, street art, and green space, there is a seemingly endless list of things to see and do long after show hours. The full 22-mile loop connects 45 neighborhoods, making it one of the most active and vibrant areas of the city.

A few neighborhoods worth adding to your list include Little Five Points, which offers a laidback, bohemian vibe with quirky shops, dive bars, and eclectic eateries, and Virginia-Highland, known for its boutique shopping, cozy cafés, and green spaces like Orme Park along Clear Creek. Ponce City Market, a historic building turned modern marketplace, brings it all together with a vibrant mix of retail, dining, and entertainment, making it an ideal stop to unwind after a full day on the show floor.
